A co-founder and CTO who turns ambitious ideas into products built to last.

Portrait of Pallav Sharma

Pallav Sharma is a co-founder and CTO who turns ambitious ideas into products built to last.

For more than twelve years he has designed, built and scaled software across education, developer tools, digital commerce and customer loyalty: platforms that serve learners at scale, high-traffic consumer communities, merchant ecosystems and rewards economies.

As a co-founder, he took a company from a blank page to a production-ready platform, owning product vision, architecture, engineering culture and delivery end to end. Before that, he led engineering organisations of more than twenty people, grew teams and built the planning, quality and reliability practices that let them ship with confidence.

Today he works where technology meets the business: helping founders make decisions that hold up for years, designing systems that scale, and building teams that raise their own standards.

He writes a field note every day on judgment, leading people and building things that last, published here and on LinkedIn.

Principles · four ideas every note returns to

Good judgment compounds faster than any other asset.

Judgment

Decide at the speed of reversibility.

Move fast through doors you can walk back through. Slow down only for the few you can't.

Leading people

Teams rise to clearly stated standards.

Say what great looks like, then protect the people who reach for it.

Building things that last

Simplicity is what remains after discipline.

Durable systems are built by removing what doesn't earn its place.

Growth

Compound what only you can do.

Small, deliberate gains in judgment and craft add up faster than effort alone.
